Gunnery Sergeant Carlos J. Rodriguez was convicted at a general court-martial of four offenses involving unlawful sexual acts with children. In its initial review of the case, the United States Navy-Marine Corps Court of Criminal Appeals set aside two specifications and authorized a rehearing. United States v. Rodriguez, No. NMCCA 9900997, 2002 CCA Lexis 259, 2002 WL 31433595 (N.M.Ct.Crim.App. Oct. 25, 2002) (unpublished).
