BECK, Judge:

These consolidated Commonwealth appeals challenge the trial court’s application of Pa.R.Crim.P. 6013, the Municipal Court speedy trial rule, to prompt trials de novo in the Court of Common Pleas following Municipal Court convictions. 1

Specifically, the Commonwealth challenges the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas’ dismissal of all criminal charges against defendants already convicted by the Municipal Court where the defendants’ trials de novo before the Court of Common Pleas commenced a single day after the mechanical Rule 6013(g) rúndate as a result of court congestion.
