Homer FERGUSON, Judge:

This is another in a series of cases which have reached this Court of late involving the correctness of certain advice contained in the staff judge advocate’s post-trial review of the record of trial. Because of the inordinate number of cases in which issues of a similar nature have been raised, it is considered advisable here to explore at some length the law applicable to such reviews.
