I. INTRODUCTION
In 2007, Plaintiff Southeastern Pennsylvania Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (“the Synod”) placed the Evangelical Lutheran Church of the *857Redeemer of Philadelphia (“Redeemer”) under “involuntary synodical administration” (“the ISA”) and appointed a Board of Trustees to administer Redeemer.
