We granted leave to determine whether a writ of restitution issued by the 33rd District Court in this land contract forfeiture proceeding is enforceable. Specifically, we must decide whether the land contract vendees in default were prohibited by fraud from redeeming the property in question. Alternatively, we must determine whether the vendees exercised their statutory right of redemption by placing the default amount in escrow with a title insurance company on the afternoon of the last day of redemption.1 We are unable to conclude, on the facts of this case, that the vendors perpetrated…
