FOSTER, Justice.

This is a suit at law for a sum of money alleged to be owing plaintiff by virtue of a contract made by defendant’s testate represented ■ by a letter alleged to have been signed by him and given to plaintiff. The letter is as follows:

“You have been so very nice to me during the past several years — writing all of my letters and telegrams for me and mailing them, even furnishing the postage, that I want to do something for you. You-refuse every time to let me pay you for your trouble. What I am getting at is, I do not want you to do my work for me unless I can reimburse you for…
