CROCKETT, Justice:

Plaintiff brought this appeal for the stated purpose of challenging the authority of the District Court to order a stay of execution where there has been an adjudication of an amount past due under a decree of divorce. The decree had required the defendant to pay $150 per month as support money for two minor children whose custody was awarded to the plaintiff. After a hearing the District Court found an arrearage of $1496 and entered judgment for that amount.
