OPINION

DROWOTA, Justice.

The Defendant, Brian Kelly Adams, was indicted in May, 1990, on fourteen counts of aggravated sexual battery, aggravated rape, and attempts to commit aggravated sexual battery and aggravated rape. The victims were all three young boys, ages four, five, and twelve. The Defendant pleaded guilty to four counts of attempted aggravated sexual battery and four counts of attempted aggravated rape.
