Defendant-Appellant Rangie B. Alangcas (Alangcas) appeals from two interlocutory orders, entered on September 17, 2009, in the Circuit Court of the First Circuit (Circuit Court), denying Alangeas’s motions to dismiss Counts I and III of Plaintiff-Appel-lee State of Hawaii’s (State) indictment against him, both counts alleging electronic enticement of a child in the first degree in violation of Hawaii Revised Statutes (HRS) § 707-756 (Supp.2012).1
