LANSING, Chief Judge.

This is an appeal from a district court’s order upholding the defendant’s conviction for misdemeanor driving under the influence of alcohol. For the following reasons, we affirm.

FACTS AND PROCEDURAL BACKGROUND

On August 29, 1994, Erma D. Hanson was driving- on State Highway 97 around Lake Coeur d’Alene when her car drifted into the oncoming lane of traffic.
