A class comprised of 69 installation and service technicians (Technicians) filed an action against employer Brink’s Home Security, Inc. (Brink’s). Technicians alleged that Brink’s violated the Washington Minimum Wage Act (MWA), chapter 49.46 RCW, by failing to compensate Technicians for time they spent driving company trucks from their homes to the first jobsite and back from the last jobsite (drive time).
