This is an appeal from a judgment of the circuit court of McLean county. The case involves the validity of an ordinance of the city of Bloomington, commonly referred to as a parking-meter ordinance. Appellant violated the provisions of the ordinance by parking in designated parking places, where meters had been installed, without depositing coins in the meters as provided by the ordinance. He was charged, by a complaint filed with a justice of the peace, with violating the ordinance.
