This certified appeal requires us to decide whether the defendant, John M. Tremaine, may be required to pay lump sum alimony to the plaintiff, Nancy G. Tremaine, under the terms of a separation agreement that had been incorporated into the judgment dissolving their marriage and, in addition, whether the defendant has such complete control over the corpus of a certain trust that the value of the entire trust corpus may be included in the calculation of his estate for the purpose *47of determining alimony.
