A general court-martial in Japan found the accused guilty of twenty specifications alleging a failure to obey a Far East Command Circular, in violation of Article 92, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 50 USC § 686. On appeal, a board of review reversed the conviction on the ground that a pretrial statement of the accused was improperly admitted in evidence.
