OPINION

GENE CARTER, Chief Judge.

This case, which is the damages phase of a trial conducted in this Court in 1986, was tried to the Court between July 8 and July 16, 1991. Defendant Gabriel’s liability for infringement of Plaintiff’s Knop patent was established by the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit in Andrew Corp. v. Gabriel Electronics, Inc., 847 F.2d 819 (Fed.Cir.1988). The Knop patent, U.S. Patent No. 4,410,892, was issued on October 18, 1983 for a horn reflector antenna lined with absorber. The period of infringement for which damages must be calculated runs from October 18, 1983…
