The principal issue on this appeal is whether the trial court properly calculated the amount of damages to which the defendants were entitled upon rescission of an instalment sales contract under the Retail Instalment Sales Financing Act (hereinafter RISFA), General Statutes §§ 42-83 through 42-100a.
