OPINION OF THE COURT
CASTILLE, Justice.
This case presents the sole issue of whether the three year, eight month delay of appellant’s trial during which this Court considered appellant’s second allocatur petition violated appellant’s rights to a speedy trial and to due process so as to warrant the dismissal of all charges against him. We affirm the order of the Superior Court on the basis that no speedy trial violation occurred.
