Appellant Nancy Smith asserted claims of handicap discrimination and negligent and intentional infliction of emotional distress against her former employer, appellee Dillard Department Stores, Inc. (“Dillard”). Smith claims that Judge Nancy Margaret Russo erred in granting Dillard’s motion for summary judgment because genuine issues of material fact exist about whether she could have performed her job had Dillard made reasonable accommodations for her physical limitations and whether Dillard inflicted emotional distress upon her.
