This appeal arises from the termination of Dr. Kiki Ikossi’s employment at the Navy Research Lab (“NRL”) where she was an electrical engineer. After appealing to the Merit System Protection Board (“MSPB”) and filing a complaint with the Equal Employment Opportunity (“EEO”) office, Dr. Ikossi sued the Secretary of the Navy and the NRL in the district court, alleging gender, age, and national origin discrimination and unlawful retaliation as well as violations of the Family and Medical Leave Act (“FMLA”) and the Civil Service…
