These appeals are from the final judgment of the United States District Court for the Central District of California, reported at 229 USPQ 81 (C.D.Cal.1986) (Hupp, J.) [Available on WESTLAW, 1986 WL 4795]. * The appeals were submitted for decision, after hearing, on December 1, 1986. On June 5, 1987, a Joint Motion of Smith International, Inc.
