MEMORANDUM OPINION

ROBERTS, District Judge.

Plaintiff Catherine Nails filed this lawsuit alleging violations of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (“Title VII”), as amended, 42 U.S.C. § 2000e et. seq. In her complaint, she alleges that she was discriminated against on the basis of race and retaliated against for filing an equal employment opportunity complaint (“EEO complaint”) when she was denied a promotion and sufficient performance awards.
