OPINION

COMPTON, Justice.

This case involves property damage and personal injury arising from an automobile accident. Pride obtained a judgment in the district court for property damage. He cashed a check tendered by Harris in satisfaction of the judgment. He then sued in superior court for personal injury. The superior court held that Pride’s personal injury claim was barred by accord and satisfaction.
