This appeal involves a family dispute over title of long standing to an 80-acre parcel of land, located in Manistee County. Both sides claim interests through a common owner, Blake Carpenter, who was seized of the property at the time of his intestate death on May 17, 1947. Coplaintiff, Kenneth Carpenter, is the son of Blake Carpenter.
