CUDAHY, Circuit Judge.
Patricia Covington, an assistant professor of art at Southern Illinois University’s Carbondale campus (“SIU”), sued the university under Title VII, 42 U.S.C. § 2000e et seq. (1982), and the Equal Pay Act (the “EPA”), 29 U.S.C. § 206(d) (1982), claiming that SIU discriminated against her on the basis of sex by paying her less than her male predecessor for performing the same work. 1 After a bench trial, the district court found for the university, and Covington appeals. We affirm.
