FINDINGS OF FACT AND CONCLUSIONS OF LAW
KAREN KENNEDY BROWN, Bankruptcy Judge.
Before the Court is the application of the debtor for authority to employ the law firm of Gibbs & Ratliff, L.L.P. as special counsel to pursue certain state court litigation. Employment of this firm is opposed by the defendants in the state court litigation. This court has jurisdiction of this proceeding pursuant to 28 U.S.C. §§ 157 and 1334. This is a core proceeding.
