FARRELL, Associate Judge:

In this disciplinary proceeding, the primary charge brought against respondent by Bar Counsel, and found to have been established by both a Hearing Committee and the Board on Professional Responsibility (the Board), is that respondent engaged in dishonest misappropriation of a client’s funds in violation of DR 1-102(A)(4). 1 The principal issue before us is how much weight properly may be given to an attorney’s failure to come forward with a satisfactory explanation for the usé of client funds when it has been shown by clear and convincing evidence that the attorney…
