This action was instituted by the plaintiff for the partition of the lands of Santa Cruz island, situate off the coast of the "county of Santa Barbara, and consisting of about fifty-eight thousand eight hundred acres of land, of which the plaintiff alleged that she and the defendants were tenants in common.
