INTRODUCTION

The Petitioner in this 28 U.S.C. § 2254 action was sentenced to death by a South Carolina Court of General Sessions on October 28,1993. In this § 2254 petition, the Petitioner’s two attorneys assert several grounds relating to the sentencing phase of his criminal trial and his direct appeal; they do not dispute the proceedings during the guilt phase of his trial.
