Introduction

In this action, plaintiff Dowbrands, L.P. (“DowBrands”) contends that defendant Helene Curtis, Inc.’s (“HCI”) use of the phrase “Style Freeze” in connection with its line of SALON SELECTIVES hair care products creates a likelihood of confusion with the family of STYLE trademarks which Dow-Brands uses for hair, skin and nail care products.
