In January, 1922, the plaintiff in error, Piedmont Mt. Airy Guano Company a manufacturer of commercial fertilizers, with its principal office in Baltimore, Md., through its general agent, G. H. Bundiek, entered into a contract with F. F. Buchanan, the defendant in error, a resident of Northampton county, Va., appointing said Buchanan its agent for the sale of said company’s fertilizers on commission.
