The plaintiff in error insists that Curtis was not in the position of a general agent with unlimited authority to dispose of the funds of a principal, in the name of the principal, without limitation; that he was an employee of the corporation, handling the funds of the corporation only for its business purposes; that the fraudulent check, drawn to the order of the defendant bank, made the endorsement of the bank necessary for its collection, and when the bank endorsed it, and at the request of Custis…
