Plaintiff, Frank Hunter, doing business as Hunter Funeral Home, sought damages from defendants, General Telephone Company and Michigan Bell Telephone Company, for losses in profits resulting from alleged inadequacies in directory assistance services rendered to plaintiffs potential customers by defendants’ agents. After a protracted trial, a jury found no cause of action and judgment was entered for defendants. Plaintiff appeals the denial of his motion for new trial.
