SOPER, Circuit Judge.
James W. Summerlin brought suit in'the District Court under the Jones Act, 46 U.S.C.A. § 688, which gives any seaman who shall suffer personal injury in the course of his employment the right to maintain an action for damages at law, and confers jurisdiction upon the court of the federal district in which the defendant employer resides or has his personal office.
