MEMORANDUM OPINION
REGGIE B. WALTON, District Judge.
Charles Royall (“the plaintiff’) brings this action against the National Association of Letter Carriers (“NALC” or “the defendant”) pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 1981 (2000) (“Section 1981”), alleging that he was unlawfully terminated from his position as the accounting manager for the NALC’s finance department because of his race. Complaint (“Compl.”) ¶¶ 1, 6-10.
