{¶ 1} Respondent, Dea Lynn Character, currently incarcerated in Marysville, Ohio, Attorney Registration No. 0042158, was admitted to the practice of law in Ohio in 1989.

{¶ 2} In September 1998, we imposed a six-month conditionally stayed suspension on respondent’s license based upon her failure to maintain complete records of all funds coming into her possession, failure to promptly pay or deliver funds or property that her client was entitled to receive, withdrawal of unearned or disputed fees from a client trust account, charging a clearly excessive fee, dividing fees with attorneys outside…
