This suit was begun by Minnie Brown, defendant in . error, hereinafter called plaintiff, against the Chicago, Rock Island & Pacific Railway Company, plaintiff in error, hereinafter called defendant, in the district court of Seminole county, ■ to • recover the sum of $15,000 damages alleged to have been sustained by her through the negligence of defendant while she was a passenger on one of its trains en route from Stewart, Okla., to Asher, Okla., on the 1st day of April, 1912.
