The complaint in this action seeks recovery of amounts paid by plaintiff for the privilege of doing business in malt syrups in the State of Oregon. There are forty-one counts in the complaint, each based upon a separate payment to the Oregon Liquor Control Commission during the period from April 25, 1934, to November 19, 1938.
