In April of 1938, E. T. Goodman, Eva I. Goodman, his wife as first party; Fred Gunther and Florence Gunther, his wife as second party; and Carleton E. Wood and Marguerite Wood, his wife as third party, entered into a written agreement of partnership for the purpose of reducing to writing their interests in the business then being operated by them, namely, (1) distributors in the Santa Monica Bay District for the products of the Tidewater Associated Oil Company, and (2) the Santa Monica Auto Camp.
