Plaintiffs and appellants Rosemary Morgan and Michelle Luna (collectively plaintiffs) are the widow and daughter, respectively, of decedent Mike Wayne Morgan. Morgan suffered fatal injuries when defendant Thomas Dumin crashed head on into Morgan’s vehicle as Durnin was fleeing from Beaumont Police Officer Brian Stehli during a vehicle pursuit that lasted nearly 12 minutes.
