The plaintiff is a child who was about three years old when this action was tried. She lived with her parents in a tenement house owned by the defendant and suffered injuries by reason of the falling of a section of plaster from the ceiling of a room in which she was sleeping. The apartment occupied by the family consisted of five rooms with a large hall.
