The plaintiff, Rino Gnesi Company, Inc., appeals from the judgment of the trial court dismissing its action against the defendants, Sebastian Sbriglio and Angela Sbriglio, and denying its subsequent motion for reconsideration. The action arises from a promissory note, executed by the defendants in favor of the plaintiff, secured by a mortgage. Following a default in payment of the mortgage loan, the plaintiff brought a two count complaint seeking a foreclosure on the mortgage and a money judgment on the promissory note.
