FLETCHER, Judge:

Contrary to his pleas the appellant was found guilty of four marihuana offenses in violation of Article 134, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 U.S.C. § 934. In partic*169ular, he was convicted of possession and sale of marihuana on December 30, 1975, and of similar offenses on January 5, 1977. He was sentenced by a military judge sitting alone at this general court-martial to a dishonorable discharge, confinement at hard labor for 3 years, total forfeitures and reduction to the pay grade of E-l.
