The plaintiff, Stephen G. Hay (plaintiff), appeals from a Superior Court order granting the defendant’s, Pawtucket Mutual Insurance Company (defendant), motion for summary judgment in this breach of contract action. This case came before the Supreme Court for oral argument on May 12, 2003, following an order directing the parties to appear and show cause why the issues raised in this appeal should not summarily be decided.
