Paul W. BROSMAN, Judge:

The accused was tried by a general court-martial, convened on the island of Guam by the Commander, Naval Forces Marianas. The charge was sodomy, in violation of the Uniform Code of Military Justice, Article 125, 50 USC § 719. The accused pleaded not guilty, but was convicted and sentenced to receive a bad-conduct discharge, as well as to total forfeitures and confinement at hard labor for eighteen months.
