HOMER FERGUSON, Judge:

On the afternoon of June 20, 1956, a house in Yokohama, Japan, known to be operating as a narcotics dispensing cell, was placed under surveillance by two Criminal Investigation Detachment agents. The accused, together with a Japanese girl friend, who was known to be a narcotics addict, approached the house. The girl entered, while the accused remained outside.
