The accused was convicted by a general court-martial of the larceny of about one hundred items (Charge I) and of housebreaking (Charge II), in violation of Article 121 and Article 130, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 USC §§ 921, 930, respectively. He was sentenced to be dishonorably discharged from the service, to forfeit all pay and allowances, and to be confined at hard labor for five years.
