Upon their joint trial by general court-martial, the accused were convicted of two specifications alleging forgery of checks, in violation of Article 123, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 USC § 923, and were sentenced to a dishonorable discharge, partial forfeiture for two months, confinement at hard labor for eighteen months, and reduction to the lowest enlisted grade.
