Plaintiffs in error, the United Disposal and Recovery Company and the United Engineering Company, are closely allied and many of the stockholders and officers of the one are stockholders and officers of the other, but the two corporations are distinct and their work is kept separate. The United Disposal and Recovery Company is a Maine corporation organized for the purpose of operating plants for handling garbage and other waste materials of municipalities and army camps.
