The appeal is from a defense judgment following a verdict in favor of defendant Helene Rose Clough in a personal injury action. The accident involved the collision of Mrs. Clough’s automobile with a motorcycle driven by plaintiff at approximately 1 p.m., on November 29, 1962, in Sacramento. The collision occurred at an intersection (or intersections) unusually engineered and designed, where Free-port Boulevard follows a general north-south course, makes an “S” turn easterly and westerly, then northerly and southerly again. It is joined by 21st Street to the north and 4th Avenue to the west.…
