— This suit was brought by appellee, Becker (hereinafter referred to as plaintiff), against Nettie B. Lassetter and National Snrety Company, appellants (hereinafter referred to as defendants), to recover an alleged shortage in defendant Lassetter’s accounts while acting as plaintiff’s assistant postmaster at Springerville, Apache county, Arizona; the defendant National Snrety Company being sued as surety.
